Leslie Kogut

Owning Leslie K LLC is an accomplishment that I am very proud of. I graduated from H.C. Wilcox Tech in 1984 in the Hairdressing and Cosmetology field and have loved my trade every day!

I feel so blessed to have a job that I truly love and to get to meet so many inspiring people. I enjoy being behind the chair doing Blowouts, Hair Color, Updo Styling, and Haircuts. The creativity of it all feels natural to me!

Claudia Licursi

I have loved my profession right from the start. I was raised in Southington and have been working in Meriden for over 35 years in the hairdressing industry.

My career has been a wonderful part of my life. Give me a challenge, and I will conquer it with a beautiful outcome! I love to cut and perm, but hair color is what I do best. I am skilled with fine hair and will make your style unique to you.

Abby Chichester

Born and raised in Meriden, I graduated from Academy Di Capelli in 2020 and immediately fell in love with being a Hairstylist and Makeup Artist! I love coloring and highlighting, especially for long, blonde hair.

I am a blonde specialist and love creating fun, new styles to fit each of my customers. Makeup is another specialty of mine. I enjoy doing complete looks for proms, weddings, and special occasions!

I’d love to help make your day go as smoothly as possible. I have been with Leslie K since 2020, and I love coming to work every day. I cannot wait to welcome you as a new customer and friend!

Lorrie Goering

Originally from the Meriden area, I now live in Thomaston, raising my two children. I still come to Meriden to see my customers three times a week because I love my clients and my career.

I have a passion for hair, especially pop colors and beautiful highlights! I like to change hairstyles and colors to keep my clients looking fresh. I also enjoy doing formal makeup to complete my formal updos. Let’s update your style and make you POP!

Mary Gewily

I have been painting beautiful nails for over 30 years. I love the atmosphere of our nail room—quiet and relaxing.

I am one of the few nail techs in our salon so that you won’t feel crowded or overwhelmed during your appointment with me.

Come in and relax! Manicures or pedicures, I will treat you like family.

Jeanne Ingham

I have owned and managed hair salons in the Meriden area for over 40 years. I love my career and the opportunity to create with my clients. Living in Meriden, I get to really know who my clients are and what they need. I believe hairdressing is one of the most rewarding careers out there.

I love to shop, and you might see me out and about! I’d love to help you update your style, but come to the salon so we can complete your total look.

Sydney Daniels

Hi, everyone! I am originally from Meriden, but I moved to Middletown three years ago. I went to school for Cosmetology in Plainville at IIC.

I really enjoy doing color services such as balayage and highlighting. I can’t wait to meet all my new customers here at Leslie K!

Barbara McKenney

I have lived in Meriden all my life raising three boys and nannying seven grandchildren. Over the years, I have worked at Meriden Markham Airport as an office manager and at old Meriden Hospital in the radiology dept. I am very happy to be working here at Leslie K as a front end administrator for this new chapter in my life!

Valerie Mendoza

I was raised in Meriden after moving from the West Coast at a young age. I graduated from Wilcox Technical High School with a degree in Hairdressing and Cosmetology. Creating new hairstyles has always been my passion. From cutting and coloring to blowout styles, I enjoy every aspect of hairstyling. Helping people feel beautiful is what I love most about my work. I take pride in being a stylist for the entire family, for children, men and grandparents, ensuring everyone leaves looking their best. I can’t wait to welcome you to my chair at Leslie K LLC!

Angela Zandri

Hello! I’m Angela Zandri, a passionate hairstylist born and raised in the charming town of Wallingford. My journey in the hairdressing and cosmetology field began at H.C. Wilcox Technical High School, where I honed my skills and developed a deep love for this creative profession.

From a young age, I found joy in transforming friends and family with beautiful hairstyles, which inspired me to pursue this career. As a stylist, I specialize in a variety of services including haircutting, highlighting, vivid colors, blowouts, and updo styles for any occasion. Whether it’s a casual day out or a special event, I love crafting looks that make my clients feel confident and beautiful.
